- ➤ Clark State College President Jo Alice Blondin spoke at the Springfield Rotary meeting where she shared her career journey and announced her retirement in June after 33 years in higher education. She will work as a national consultant on accreditation, planning, board governance and budgeting (a role that builds on her rich experience). Springfield News-Sun
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Field Trips, Springfield's on-demand transit service, provided over 43,000 rides for 2,500 riders in less than six months, far exceeding retired fixed bus routes. The city said it will continue to evaluate the service's efficiency on its Facebook page. WYSO
REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ Miami Township resident James Simpson is seeking to shift his rent due date (the second Wednesday of every month) to match his Social Security check, which helps cover his expenses and avoid extra fees.
