ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ Firefighters battled windy conditions to control a home fire in Clark County today — the Red Cross is assisting residents impacted by the blaze. WHIO
- ➤ A fire was reported at United Rehabilitation Services yesterday and was quickly handled (no structural damage occurred) so services continued as scheduled. WHIO
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The OhioMeansJobs office in Clark County will use a state grant to add a dedicated veteran area in its resource room by the end of September to expand job support and tailored resources (including a texting platform) that help veterans shift to civilian life while training staff on unique needs. - ➤ Area communities hosting recreational cannabis dispensaries are receiving millions from the state’s host community fund following Senate Bill 56. Springfield received $337,190 to support public services & core operations as officials plan their budgets. Springfield News-Sun
