  • WHIO-TV's investigative team, in collaboration with KFF Health News, received the duPont-Columbia Award for its work on Social Security’s Secret (a report that exposed harsh SSA overpayment practices affecting millions, including some in Ohio). EDUCATION NEWS

  • Clark State College honored 1,408 fall students on the Dean's List for earning 3.5 GPAs and a full course load, including over 400 enrolled in dual credit courses. All college locations are operating virtually today due to inclement weather, with the closure beginning Wednesday, Jan. 28 and continuing through Friday, Jan. 30.  Clark State College

HEALTH NEWS

  • Pet experts from the Greater Dayton Humane Society and Montgomery County Animal Resource Center advise residents to bring pets indoors as bitter cold can lead quickly to life-threatening conditions.
