EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ State officials awarded Clark and Champaign county schools over $166K in school bus safety grants to add features such as seat belts, external cameras and lane-departure warning systems to buses. All schools that applied for eligible safety upgrades received an award under the program. Springfield News-Sun
- ➤ Local high school students and adult learners can explore degree and career options at Clark State College Preview Day on Feb. 16 starting at 8:30 a.m. Participants may choose sessions about admissions, financial aid, and scholarships at the Hollenbeck Bayley Creative Arts and Conference Center (275 S. - ➤ Springfield officials remind property owners and businesses that under city requirements, sidewalks must have snow and ice cleared by 10 a.m. the day after a snowfall unless an area is exempt (city code Section 903.12).
