  • Jennifer Davis and Beth Taylor compared small towns and big cities in a talk on One Small Step with WYSO that aired Feb. 3, sharing stories of neighborly help during tough times and everyday challenges, and noting that personal effort + government action both play a role in community support.  WYSO

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • A federal judge has blocked plans to end the Temporary Protected Status for about 15,000 Haitian refugees in Springfield, giving them temporary relief. The ruling, which Mayor Rob said provides stability for local families, is expected to face an appeal and may change in coming months.  WHIO

SPORTS NEWS

  • Clark State College held the First Pitch Dinner to launch its men's baseball season. Over 140 guests gathered and raised more than $9,500 from ticket sales, donations and silent auctions to support scholarships, equipment and team travel.  Clark State College
