EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Jefferson Township Local Schools announced that in fall, school buses will only pick up K-8 students who live more than two miles (the state minimum) to save money; high school students will not be bussed (per board decision) and affected families will be notified by the end of the month. WHIO
- ➤ Clark State College integrates Assist, an advanced AI platform, into its registered and licensed practical nursing programs to boost teaching quality and care. Pilot tests from fall 2024 saved faculty over five hours weekly, allowing them to focus more on direct student support. Springfield News-Sun

- ➤ TPS-holding Haitians in Springfield face expired driver’s licenses — tied to an original Feb. 3 date despite a federal judge's ruling delaying TPS termination.
