CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The sixth annual Dance Stomp Shake Competition brought 700 attendees and 218 dancers to Kuss Auditorium, with Springfield High School winning its first high school category. Organizers awarded prize money to winners and plan improvements for youth programming after lower attendance, prompting a reassessment of the event model. Springfield News-Sun
- ➤ Springfield and Urbana have a busy weekend with music events. - ➤ A local campaign from Dayton Collaboratory raised $137,850 to remove $21.95 million in medical debt for 15,378 people, including nearly $9.4 million for Clark County. The effort bought debt for pennies on the dollar to help families manage health care costs. Springfield News-Sun
