COMMUNITY NEWS

  • Dr. Greg Noll, who has cared for Springfield pets for 44 years, will retire on June 30 while his clinic, now owned by PetVet Care Centers, continues to serve the community and is recruiting a second vet + promises to maintain the same quality of care.  Springfield News-Sun

BUSINESS NEWS

  • International Motors agreed to sell its historic truck plant on 500 acres off Urbana Road to defense and commercial vehicle maker Roshel on Monday, Mar. 30. Roshel said it will restore the facility to full capacity and expand production of armored and special vehicles as closing conditions are met.  WYSO

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Community members testified at the OPSB hearing for the planned solar facility in Clark County. The project includes solar panels, safety fencing, and local job opportunities, and it is set for further review during an evidentiary hearing at 10 a.m. Apr. 16 in Columbus (final board decision follows expert testimonies).  Springfield News-Sun
  • On Monday, the Ohio BMV warned residents about a texting scam that urges immediate payment to avoid license suspension (the agency said it never sends texts asking for payment). Drivers are urged to delete such messages and avoid clicking links to protect their personal information.  WHIO
