- ➤ Clark State was named to the Gold Level as a Military-Friendly School by VIQTORY — a veteran-owned business that links military members with civilian opportunities; the college will induct 10 military affiliated students into SALUTE on April 28 — a national honor society that honors academic achievements of military students. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ More than 200,000 pounds of liquid egg products sold under Egg Beaters and Bob Evans labels were recalled because they may contain sodium hypochlorite—a cleaning chemical—FSIS advised consumers to return or discard any affected 32‑ounce cartons. The products were shipped to distributor locations in Ohio and other states, and no adverse health effects were reported. WDTN

REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ Construction began last week on the 16-acre Fountain Village housing development on the former Mercy Health campus on North Fountain Boulevard and McCreight Avenue. City officials approved an emergency ordinance to adjust access points — the project will include 54 single-family homes and nine townhomes with modern layouts and prices starting in the mid-$300,000 range.
