- ➤ Dave Chappelle and Grammy award winning musician Wyclef Jean will honor the local Haitian community on April 5 at 8 p.m. at the YS Firehouse in Yellow Springs as the Haitian Appreciation Show sells out except for a few reserved $75 tickets for community members & the event celebrates their regional contributions. ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A Cedarville University student + his father were injured in a fiery plane crash in Pennsylvania early March when their plane crashed near Springfield Beckley Municipal Airport. They are now in good condition, and the FAA + NTSB are investigating the incident. WHIO
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Police used a drone with thermal imaging to spot a man stuck in a chimney today—officers rescued and arrested him. WHIO
- ➤ Springfield Police Division said officers responded on Feb. 15 to the 1000 block of Jasper Street where a 22-year-old woman named Kaleena Bentley was found unresponsive and later pronounced dead at the hospital, and on March 31 a grand jury indicted 27-year-old Raymond Scott on charges including aggravated murder—he remains in Clark County Jail.
