- ➤ Mathews Family Farmer’s Market will open its season on Saturday, April 11 at 950 W. Leffel Lane as Coffee Expressions launches its new mobile coffee truck run by Jessica and Kenny Steele. The truck will offer coffee and pastries with a drive-through for year-round service. Springfield News-Sun
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Shawnee High School students are learning science through the hydroponic project Flex Farm, where they grow lettuce and basil in the school lobby (a project led by teacher Elizabeth Allen and funded by a $5,000 grant).
