- ➤ Victor’s Taco Shop will open a second location at 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 11 at 1200 N. Bechtle Ave. in Springfield — customers visiting during the first month will enter a raffle for a $500 check with the winner announced on May 11. The new 2,000-square-foot venue will seat about 60 people and plans include a food truck and an application for a liquor license for future expansion. Springfield News-Sun

- ➤ AES Ohio warned of scammers posing as company representatives who demanded immediate payment through third-party sites and threatened to disconnect service—customers with billing concerns were advised to check their accounts online or call customer service. WHIO
- ➤ Seventeen people were indicted in Clark County Common Pleas Court this week on charges ranging from receiving stolen property to attempted murder—many of the cases involve individuals from Springfield. Springfield News-Sun
