CULTURE NEWS

  • The Clark State Theatre Arts Program presents Little Women with local graduates and students at Turner Studio Theatre, 300 S. Fountain Ave — the production opens Friday, April 10 and runs through Sunday, April 19 with several showings.  Springfield News-Sun
  • The Clark County Historical Society is hosting two Revolutionary War events to showcase history. A symposium runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 11 at the Heritage Center and a guided tour begins on May 2 at George Rogers Clark Park (930 S. Tecumseh Road); registration is required.  Springfield News-Sun

ECONOMY NEWS

  • Ohio is rapidly growing as a data center hub, with a planned Springfield campus set to draw up to 150 megawatts and require major grid upgrades. Local utilities warn that if developers do not cover the costs, residents may ultimately face higher electric rates.  Springfield News-Sun

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Sixty-five Clark County students attended Greater Springfield Partnership’s fifth Magnify Internship Training Day on April 7 at Brinkman Education Center to build resumes, practice interviews, and learn financial literacy. They will interview with local companies on April 29 and 30 for paid summer internships.  Springfield News-Sun
