- ➤ A stray pig was reunited with its local family yesterday just before closing, according to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton. The pig was recognized by its owners and welcomed back home in Springfield. WHIO
- ➤ The lead pastor at Crossroads Church is suspended after an investigation found he used his riding crop on a church member in an inappropriate manner. He will take a one-month suspension followed by a four-month leave as lead pastor Kyle Ranson oversees church operations. WHIO
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Clark County Sheriff Office D.A.R.E. deputies will host the Safety Village program in June for local kindergarteners at Miami View Elementary, Park Layne Elementary and Kenton Ridge Elementary, where children aged 4 and 5 will learn about 911, fire, and personal safety basics over several sessions culminating in a graduation ceremony.
