- ➤ At a Clark County job fair held Tuesday, 60 employers met with job seekers to fill entry-level positions that offer on-the-job training. Some companies, including those in manufacturing and health, said they need dependable workers as turnover is high and skilled labor remains scarce — local technical programs are helping to bridge the gap. FINANCE NEWS
- ➤ Yesterday, April 15, was the last day to file 2024 taxes — taxpayers who needed more time filed extension requests that give extra time to file but not extra time to pay. The IRS stated that payments were due by the deadline to avoid penalties and local offices in Huber Heights, Kettering, and Riverside provided extended assistance. WHIO

- ➤ The city began phase one of its sidewalk, curb and gutter repair program in Northern Estates south of Villa Road and west of Middle Urbana Road. Property owners will soon receive a notice that they must fix their pavement within 30 days or the city will repair it and add the cost to their taxes — as approved by the city council.
