- ➤ Springfield will host the National Advanced Air Mobility Forum Oct. 8-9 followed by the modern Pulitzer Electric Aircraft Race Oct. 10-13 at the Springfield-Beckley Municipal Airport — a revival of a century-old event last held in 1924. The race will feature zero-emission, fully electric aircraft with 24 crews competing on a 90 nautical mile closed-circuit triangular course for the Pulitzer Trophy and recognition at the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum in Washington, D.C. - ➤ The Clark County Senior Citizens Task Force gave its first Chrysanthemum Award to Rose Bagford of Forest Glen at an award dinner last week—she was chosen from 16 nominations across nine nursing homes and received a trophy crafted by a local graduate and $1,000 for her exceptional care.
