On April 26th, a semi hit a covered bridge and then backed into a police car in Springfield—officials reported vehicle damage from the accident.

Bellefontaine police confirmed that Sergeant Bradley Staley was under the influence on duty on April 24 and placed on leave—he is expected to face charges for operating a vehicle while impaired after tests by the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.
