ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A 17-year-old died and another teen was injured after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of U.S. 68 and Springfield Xenia Road Saturday afternoon when a 2003 BMW 325xi failed to yield while turning left and was struck by a 2011 Ford F-350.  Springfield News-Sun
  • A man was seriously hurt after a woman drove the wrong-way and hit his 2011 Ford Fusion when she attempted to turn onto Brown Street, police said.  WHIO

  • Piqua Steel Company said it will move an electric transformer from Fairborn to an AES substation using a truck carrying a superload weighing almost 370K pounds — the heavy load may cause delays for Greene County drivers.  WHIO

  • Springfield Police Sgt. James Byron provided an update on the cold case murder of 25-year-old Alia Hartman from 2008, noting that investigators have not yet solved the case.  Springfield News-Sun
