The Southeastern High School softball team beat Bradford 7-5 on Thursday night at Houston High School in a Division VII district final—winning their first district championship since 2014.

Ty English has been named the new boys basketball coach at Shawnee High School after serving five seasons as an assistant at Carroll.

He replaces Chris McGuire—who stepped down last month to focus on family—and will use his experience from coaching football and AAU teams to lead the Braves program.
