- ➤ Springfield Jazz and Blues Fest, presented by Springfield Kiwanis, will take place downtown Aug. 7-8 at National Road Commons Park and Mother Stewart’s Brewing Company, featuring 17 acts including Tito Puente Jr., Bobby Floyd and Kurt Elling, with free admission and after-concert jams at the State Theater. - ➤ Wittenberg University has launched a $250,000 campaign to repaint Myers Hall in its traditional red and restore its cupola, a historic campus landmark. The effort has raised $47,423 from 175 donors as of Friday, May 22. Springfield News-Sun
