- ➤ SNAP recipients in Ohio now can use their EBT cards on DoorDash+Kroger to enjoy free first grocery delivery from over 200 stores starting May 1. The new service aims to help those facing transportation challenges access essential groceries. WYSO
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Residents near Payne Recreation Center and Swimming Hole Road were warned to avoid the area — a sewage overflow on May 31 made it unsafe for travel. WHIO
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Five local high schools advanced to the state softball championships after winning their regional titles and will play semifinal games at Firestone Stadium in Akron later this week. Centerville will face Bradley on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. while Southeastern plays Maplewood on Thursday at 10 a.m. WHIO
- ➤ More than 20 youth equestrians from two Clark County teams will compete at the YEDA national event starting June 4 at the Virginia Horse Center in Lexington (marking YEDA’s 10th anniversary). Coaches Mikal Porter and Miranda Roesel guide the teams. Springfield News-Sun
