- ➤ Former Krazy Taco 937 at 229 N. Belmont Ave changed hands after the popular taco spot closed last December. Local investor Todd Fisher now owns the space for a new restaurant concept — former owner Steve Levitt plans to share his taco recipes online. Springfield News-Sun
ECONOMY NEWS
- ➤ Three local business projects received tax credits that will create 387 new jobs in Southwest Ohio + Aerovironment in Beavercreek and Xenia is set to add 200 jobs by 2029 + Weidman Electrical in Middletown and Killer Brownie in Springboro are expected to add 105 and 82 jobs by 2028 and 2029. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Clark County Educational Service Center will host its first sub day event next week for those interested in substitute teaching. The event is on Wednesday, June 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 4170 Allium Court in Springfield (training sessions and help for licensing are available). Springfield News-Sun
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Mercy Health, Springfield moved its orthopedic practice to a new office at 7774 Dayton Springfield Road & is launching neurosurgery and women’s health services at a Fairborn Family Medicine location. Dr. Malone began seeing patients on June 1, Dr. Verdon will begin tomorrow, and women’s health opens on June 25. Springfield News-Sun
