Today the Best of Springfield contest starts and accepts nominations for local people and businesses presented by Springfield News-Sun + Greater Springfield Partnership until June 27.
Finalists will be chosen next and residents will vote from July 21 to August 8, with winners announced on Oct. 9 and featured in a special section on Oct. 12.
