- ➤ Adrianna 'Anna' Wilson, 16, went missing from the Northern Estates area of Springfield on July 3 at about 3:30 a.m. when her family said she left without her cell phone and may have changed clothes—she is 5 feet 3 inches tall with hazel eyes, blonde hair with brown roots, a round scar on her left hand, and was last seen in jean shorts, a shirt of unknown color, and pink Crocs. EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Springfield City Schools finished a six-month program with Digital Promise that helped the district learn new ways to cut chronic absenteeism and set a goal of 93% attendance for the 2025-26 school year — the district now uses new data systems, messages families, and reaches out to the community — and will continue these plans next year.
