Young’s Jersey Dairy in Yellow Springs announced that long‑time CEO Dan Young will retire this fall after five decades at the helm and fourth‑generation John Young will take over as CEO effective November 1.
Dan will serve as board chair to guide long‑term plans—while John, who has worked in many roles at the dairy, is set to keep guest service a top priority.
Torte & Iron Café, formerly Le Torte Dolci Bakery and Ironworks Waffle Café, will host its grand re-opening Saturday, July 19 in Springfield.

Springfield has launched Field Trips, a new public transit service that offers door-to-door rides via an app or phone reservation.
Residents can try free rides until July 28—officials say the service will soon replace SCAT to make travel to work, school, or healthcare easier.
