  • Archbishop Robert Casey of Cincinnati will lead a Mass on Sunday at a Springfield church honoring Haitian and Hispanic immigrants with services in English, Creole, and Spanish—followed by a catered meal. He will urge local leaders to show hospitality as immigrants face stress and uncertain futures.  Springfield News-Sun
  • After an EF-1 tornado hit a Clark County community Saturday night with wind speeds up to 100 mph, high school football players from Kenton Ridge High School helped clean up houses, trees, and power lines—actions that restored normalcy after the storm. Coach Jon Daniels said the team saw this as a chance to serve their neighbors.  WHIO
  • The Clark County Fair in Springfield runs through July 25 and offers fresh options including steak bowls, chicken wraps and unique cinnamon rolls made from scratch.   • Eric Charlton, Ph.D., has joined Clark State College as dean of the new School of Allied Health and Public Services—created after splitting its former health division to offer a new bachelor’s degree in nursing; he previously led allied health programs at Columbus State Community College and said he is eager to help students succeed in regional health care careers.  Clark State College
