- ➤ The Clark County Sheriff’s Office honored Sharon Waddle, Barbara Harbage and retired sheriff Lt. John Loney Sr. with Community Impact Awards for launching Safety Village in 1975— a program that has taught local children to cross streets safely. Sheriff Chris Clark said the program has strengthened community safety and will continue to serve kids for many years— ensuring a lasting legacy. Springfield News-Sun
- ➤ Senior Josie Jennings said goodbye to the Clark County Fair after 10 years of raising cattle and learning important life lessons.
