ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A 20-year-old man died when two boats collided during a race at Champions Park Lake at around 10 a.m. on Tuesday — medics took him to the hospital where he later died. WHIO
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Marcus Hasan was charged Tuesday with murder, felonious assault, and domestic violence after he called 911 on July 23 saying he shot his girlfriend in Springfield—court documents show she was shot several times and died at the scene. WHIO
- ➤ A new video shows a Springfield officer shooting one round at a car during a chase that began early Thursday when the suspect did not stop on Interstate 70 and drove into the city— the officer is now on paid administrative leave as officials review the incident. WHIO
