Clark State Performing Arts Center announced its 2026-27 season featuring Broadway shows, music tours, and student theatre productions beginning Sept.
26 with The Wiz — its opening act, followed by a Club Kuss series and more. Tickets are on sale now at 300 S. Fountain Ave in Springfield.

Today, heavy thunderstorms caused power outages for 9,441 customers in the area, with Montgomery County reporting 5,825 outages and Champaign County 2,875, while minor flooding is reported in low lying areas; residents are urged to avoid flooded roads & travel with caution.
