CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Twenty-three people were indicted at Clark County Common Pleas Court this week on charges including aggravated possession of drugs and failure to comply with police orders—charges involving several local residents. Springfield News-Sun
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Clark State College has named David Ferguson as its new director of workforce and he brings over 30 years of experience in hiring and training workers. He will work with local employers and community groups to build training programs that meet local needs — a change that is expected to support both students and the local job market. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Ferncliff Cemetery and Arboretum will update its black wrought iron fence — which has been hit nearly seven times each year since 2018 — by removing old panels, building a mound with plantings, and installing a new fence before planned road improvements on Ohio 41 begin around 2027 or 2028.
