Life Untethered, a Springfield nonprofit, opened a personal care pantry (Aug.
17) to supply nursing home residents in Clark County with high-quality hygiene products. Nine local facilities order online as the project benefits from community donations.

ODJFS reminds families receiving SNAP benefits that they can use their Ohio Direction Card at local farmers markets to buy food tokens + visit Springfield Farmers Market at 117 South Fountain Avenue on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
AES Ohio reported that as of 3:20 a.m., 1,879 customers lost power across Miami Valley, with most outages occurring in Greene and Montgomery counties.

The nonprofit Emerge Recovery + Trade Initiative opened its new Springfield center at 1055 E.
High St. five months ago and has since provided outpatient behavioral support with onsite assessments and daily transport to its main campus in Xenia to help bridge care gaps.
