- ➤ Clark State College opened a Directed Learning Lab at its Xenia campus at 334 Progress Drive where students gain hands-on training in engineering and industrial maintenance — the lab is open Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is part of a workforce development plan funded by Ohio’s Super RAPIDS. - ➤ Clark-Shawnee Local School District named Tim Sullivan as the new special education director and he will support staff, parents and students to boost learning outcomes. Sullivan brings nearly two decades of experience including roles at Springfield City Schools — district leaders are confident he will guide special education with excellence. Springfield News-Sun

- ➤ Taylor Fresh Foods announced a voluntary recall of its Taylor Farms Honey Balsamic Salad Kit after it was found that the dressing packets contained Asian Sesame Ginger dressing—putting consumers at risk for undeclared sesame and soy allergens. Those who bought the kits in local stores are urged to discard them or return them for a refund. WHIO
