  • Community leaders and groups in Clark County are planning America 250 celebrations next year to honor the nation’s 250-year history and share local stories. The planning committee has proposed planting special trees—an idea that shows the community’s past and future—and creating items like stickers to join the celebration.  Springfield News-Sun

ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A 31-year-old woman was injured after her 2023 Hyundai Tucson rolled over at the intersection of Enon Road — Lower Valley Pike in Clark County on Wednesday morning; medics transported her to a nearby hospital while a 33-year-old man received treatment at the scene and state troopers are investigating the crash.  WHIO

CULTURE NEWS

  • Dr. Darin Green, a board-certified proctologist at Providence Proctology serving Springfield and Dayton, has added comedy to his work by writing shows that blend his medical expertise with humor—he began performing in 2013, has donated proceeds to local charities, and plans to craft new acts soon.  Springfield News-Sun

HEALTH NEWS

  • The village of South Vienna remains under a boil advisory today because a water main break lowered system pressure and raised the risk of contaminants entering the supply—emergency repairs are underway and residents must use boiled or bottled water until the advisory lifts.  Springfield News-Sun
