Springfield hosts two dog friendly events on Saturday, Sept.
12. MustardFest at 21 Mill Run Place features food eating contests and wiener dog races while Wuffstock at 1900 Park St. offers pet vendors and family activities (from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.).

A new bakery, Keep It Sweet, opened on Thursday, Sept.
3 at 1042 Upper Valley Pike in Springfield. Owner Jennifer Groeber celebrated the ribbon cutting (marking the business’s debut) as the bakery begins serving local residents.
🎭 Culture
On Tuesday, Sept. 8, an Air Force veteran couple (longtime service members) shared personal reflections on the 25th anniversary of Sept.
11 in a video interview, offering insight into the lasting impact of that historic day.
🏛️ Government
Invenergy asked for a rehearing of its proposed Sloopy Solar project in Harmony Township but the Ohio Power Siting Board denied the request.
The company can only appeal the decision by taking the case to the Ohio Supreme Court.

The Clark County Health Department is holding a walk-in measles vaccine clinic Tuesday, Sept.
15 from 1:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at 529 E. Home Road for those aged 12 months and older as officials urge residents to stay up to date amid a regional outbreak.
