GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Voters on Nov. 4 will decide on a 0.6 mill replacement levy that costs property owners $21 per $100,000 and resets the rate to add $6.12 more per home — a measure to preserve trails, clean spaces, and programs for the Clark County Park District. If approved, the levy will start in 2026 with the first payment due in 2027 — supporting over 2,000 acres of parks across the county. Springfield News-Sun
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Mercy Health’s redesigned Acute Rehabilitation Center in Springfield opened with a grand opening that showed how realistic therapy settings can help patients feel one step closer to home—boosting recovery through daily physical, occupational and speech therapy.
