- ➤ Greenon Schools confirmed that two 18-year-old graduates and a 55-year-old adult died in a wrong-way crash on I-70 eastbound near Brandt Pike early Oct. 5 — counselors remain available to support affected students and staff. WHIO
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ A statue honoring Johnny Lytle will be unveiled at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12 in the courtyard between the Clark State Performing Arts Center and the Hollenbeck Bayley Creative Arts and Conference Center in Springfield. The bronze statue, created by local artist Mike Major, shows Lytle with mallets and leaning on his knee—marking the site of his last public performance—after nearly a decade of planning.
