On October 27th, police reported that two critically endangered tortoises—one Egyptian and one Northern Spider—were stolen from the local zoo and are now under investigation.

Governor DeWine announced that The Constant Company will open a new data center in Springfield—creating 20 full-time jobs and an estimated $1.5 million in annual payroll—and that the project received a 50 percent, 10-year tax exemption from the Tax Credit Authority, though construction has no set start date yet.
