- ➤ First grade students at Kenwood Elementary were visited by a donkey—Biblioburro—for the third year in a row as part of a language arts lesson where they read the book 'Waiting for the Biblioburro,' asked questions, and received a new book to take home. Kenwood staff teamed with Kent’s Feed Barn to bring this memorable literacy experience to the students. Springfield News-Sun
- ➤ Clark State College was named as one of 200 community colleges eligible for the Aspen Prize for Community College Excellence based on strong student outcomes like retention — completion, transfer and bachelor’s degree attainment. The school will now enter a rigorous review process that will decide the winner in spring 2027. WHIO

- ➤ Northwestern Middle School seventh grader Trevor Jones won a national quarter-midget title in the Heavy Honda division after racing full-time in the NASCAR Youth Series across Las Vegas, Wall, and Indianapolis—his family coached him and helped secure local sponsors to build on a strong racing legacy.
