CULTURE NEWS

  • JJ Grey & Mofro will perform on Feb 20 at 8 p.m. at the Clark State Performing Arts Center's Kuss Auditorium, 300 S. Fountain Ave, and tickets will go on sale starting Nov 7 at 10 a.m.  Clark State College

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Clark State College supports veterans and military families by offering guidance, priority registration and career advising through its Veteran Services Office at the Springfield main campus. The college will host a Veterans Appreciation Ceremony at 9 a.m. on Nov 10 and Veterans Appreciation Games on Nov 12—both events honor service members and provide free admission.  Clark State College
  • On Tuesday, Clark County voters rejected a 1% earned income tax levy and a 5.35-mill substitute levy while choosing candidates for school board seats in Greenon Local, Northeastern Local, Northwestern Local and Springfield City schools—partial results showed leading vote percentages for top candidates in each race.  Springfield News-Sun
