- ➤ OIC is using its new drive-thru (for HEAP utility assistance) to help Clark County residents submit required documents and schedule phone interviews from its main office, with the program running from July 1 to May 30. - ➤ Myers Market in Springfield has re-launched as a culinary hub at 101 S. Fountain Ave, offering five new food concepts such as Dough Re Mi Pizza made with wild yeast, The Rose Room cocktails, Fountain Brews, and a rotating kitchen featuring Champion City American Grill and Gumbowl — the historic market now brings fresh dining options to the community. - ➤ Clark State College held its third annual Culture Fest on Nov. 17 for students, staff, and faculty to celebrate diverse cultures. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Mercy Health ended negotiations with Humana to keep in-network coverage for over 7,000 Medicaid and Medicare Advantage patients in Clark and Champaign counties— the agreement will begin Dec. 1 and covers all Humana contracts for these health plans. WHIO
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ A Springfield resident, Chaz Zitzner, is competing in the PGA Jr. League National Championship in Frisco, Texas this week with Team Ohio focused on raising funds for veterans, youth and underserved communities.
