Police in Clark County, including Springfield City Police, are launching the Blue Envelope Program to help interactions with people with disabilities.
Officers trained Saturday will use envelope cues to aid calm communication — an affordable $4,000 initiative aimed at reducing misunderstandings.

Recent snowfall has not eased severe drought conditions in the Miami Valley as Dayton received 8.3 inches of snow that converted to only 0.85 inches of liquid plus overall precipitation remains below normal over the past 120 days.
Meteorologists say rain is expected Wednesday, though improvements may take time.
