BUSINESS NEWS

  • Eligible Ohio Kia and Hyundai owners with vehicles targeted since April 29 may receive free installation of an ignition cylinder protector and steering wheel locks as part of a multi-state settlement (installation must be scheduled within one year after notification).  WYSO

HEALTH NEWS

  • Springfield Fire Chief Jacob King stressed the need for working smoke detectors after last week’s house fire claimed an 8-year-old boy’s life and announced free detectors with installations for residents. He urged families to keep detectors operational and plan safe escape routes to protect their homes this winter.  WHIO
