- ➤ Springfield is asking residents for input on spending about $11 million in federal funds over the next five years, with survey responses since May 6 highlighting needs for health care, street repairs, and affordable housing. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Kettering Health’s system-wide technology outage, caused by a cybersecurity incident, has disrupted pre-surgery testing and treatment appointments for patients including those with cancer. REAL ESTATE NEWS
- ➤ The city said it could provide police, fire, water/sewer, and other services—this approval was only for services and not a vote to allow the proposed 100-home subdivision north of town. Some local residents opposed the plan due to concerns over property values, wildlife, and overcrowded schools while developers promised that the new single-family homes would match the area's look and that traffic impacts would be studied before moving ahead.
