Oreo is a friendly mixed breed dog weighing about 50 lbs and is available for adoption at Clark County Dog Shelter at 5201 Urbana Road—her fee covers spay, vaccines, microchip, dog license, and a free vet check.

The shelter also is asking for more blankets as colder weather nears.

Traci Wright, a Springfield mortgage member care rep, answered an out-of-state call on Aug 18 and noticed the caller's words were jumbled, so she quickly contacted security and the sheriff’s office.
